Guthook's Tour of the Pacific Crest Trail is a map-based app that provides you with a scenic tour of the Pacific Crest Trail.
The demo (free) version includes:
--> 30 scenic locations plotted on the map
--> each scenic location has a detail page with one or more photographs and a description
--> mile marker plotted every 10 miles
The upgrade version of the app includes:
--> each feature in the demo version
** Mountains ranges, peaks, and passes
** Rivers, streams, lakes, waterfalls
** Plants, wildflowers and mushrooms
** Wilderness areas, national parks, national forests
** Human-made points of interest (bridges, shelters, monuments, etc.)
** Towns near the trail
--> comprehensive resupply guide to the pacific crest trail
** 63 locations where resupply packages may be mailed
** Address of each resupply location
** Directions to each resupply location from the PCT
** Additional information as required (holding fees, special mailing instructions, etc.)
** Lodging, food and gear shopping info for each resupply town
